Dan Autey is Executive Vice President, Commercial, for Stryten Energy, a provider of stored electrical-energy solutions for transportation and industrial markets and is responsible for leading the company’s commercial strategies. Mr. Autey joined the company in 2023 and has 30+ years of experience in the automotive aftermarket with a strong background in sales strategy development, marketing and customer relationship management.
Prior to Stryten Energy, Mr. Autey was most recently at Cardone Industries for three years as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He also spent 20 years at Johnson Controls (now Clarios), where he held leadership positions in its automotive battery business. Positions at Clarios included Vice President and General Manager, US/Canada Aftermarket, with responsibility for all commercial responsibilities in the United States and Canada, and multiple commercial roles including Vice President – Auto Parts Channel, Vice President – Wholesale Distribution, and Managing Director – Retail Channel. Mr. Autey began his career and spent six years with GNB Technologies, a manufacturer and recycler of lead acid automotive and industrial batteries.
Mr. Autey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
