Stryten Energy Welcomes Summer 2024 Interns

College Students Gain Valuable Experience in Vital Battery Manufacturing Industry

Alpharetta, GA, June 12, 2024 –Stryten Energy is excited to announce that our Summer 2024 internship program has officially begun. We have welcomed interns to take the next step on their professional journey with us. Our college interns have come from all over, from Miami University in Oxford, OH, to University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.

The 14-week program will expose our interns to various aspects of Stryten Energy’s operations. They will receive thorough training and engage in diverse tasks and projects across various departments, including Engineering, Finance, Human Resources and Corporate Communications.

“I have already gained a lot of data analyst skills in my first couple weeks. I received training during the first two weeks, which allowed me to learn a lot of useful information for future data analyst tools,” said Data Analyst Intern Kaitlyn Thompson.

The program provides interns with hands-on experiences and professional development opportunities that will prepare them for their future careers. They will be given multiple projects to work on and will listen in on meetings with their teams throughout the summer.

“My team has a lot of meetings together, and they’ve invited me to a several important meetings with the CEOs of other carriers, which helps me gain knowledge just being in the background and listening to what they talk about,” Logistics Intern James Zaski said.

Stryten’s program also allows for collaboration between the interns. Through time spent in the office together and professional development workshops, such as a Battery 101 workshop, the interns can collaborate and learn from one another.

“Stryten put the five engineering interns together in the same room, so we all know what everyone’s up to and can learn from the other fields, for example some of them in the room are computer engineers,” Chemical Engineer Intern Zach Ratliff said.

At the end of the program, the interns will have the opportunity to showcase everything they learned through a capstone project. The capstone project is meant to add lasting value to the company and is presented to their function leader, team members, HR and the recruiter before they head back to college.

“I’m really excited for my capstone. I’m going to be setting up a mentorship program for the executives because they don’t have anything like that right now,” Human Resources Employee Relations Intern Nina Sotomayor said.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact our interns will contribute to the Stryten community this summer. For more information about our internship programs and other career opportunities we offer at Stryten Energy, visit Stryten Careers.
