Our M-Series KDZ 3001 and KDZ 2701 are compact and dependable locomotive starting batteries with a four-cell monobloc tray and high-impact polyethylene container. M-Series KDZ 3001 and KDZ 2701 feature proven reliability and performance, quick engine cranking, high breakaway current, long service life, and heavy duty construction throughout. The M-Series KDZ 2701 offers large reservoir of electrolyte. M-Series KDZ 3001 offers higher capacity per cube.

- Monobloc Cells
Cells are heat-sealed with high-impact polypropylene cover and molded terminal seal. Plate retainers include horizontally wrapped glass mat and molded-plastic bottom plate shield. - Strong Construction
Separators of microporous polyethylene material; inter-tray connectors are insulated flexible cable, bolted. - Specs
Specific gravity (nominal) when fully charged is 1.250 at 77°F (25°C). Electrolyte reserve (nominal) is 2.15″ above plates. - Plates
Positive plates — low antimony (3.2%) alloyed lead grids. Negative plates — low antimony (3.2%) alloyed lead grids.
