David H. Critchfield

Mr. Critchfield is an Operating Partner with Atlas Holdings LLC, and founder and CEO of EMSOURCE, Inc., an environmental engineering company with divisions focused on due diligence, compliance operations, and environmental risk management. Before founding EMSOURCE in 1997, Mr. Critchfield was Director, Environmental Health, and Safety for International Paper, with responsibility for day-to-day compliance at 125 paper and lumber mills and converting plants throughout North America and Europe. Prior to joining International Paper, Mr. Critchfield managed the environmental design and right-of-way teams for the 5,000-mile Alaskan Natural Gas Transportation System. In addition to serving on the Board of Element Resources, Mr. Critchfield also serves on the Advisory Board of Sanexen Environment, an environmental remediation company based in Montreal, Quebec. Mr. Critchfield holds a B.A. in biology from the University of Virginia and an MBA in finance from Southern Methodist University.
